Kamilla Haaland
Hi! My name is Kamilla Baardsen Haaland and I am 21 years old. I have been active in CISV since I was 11 and participated in a village in Portugal.
This spring I have been studying intercultural communication and global cooperation at university. Currently I am also working as an intern at Amnesty International´s office in Stavanger. Besides CISV I also like to get to know new people and new places, to hang out with my friends and to relax while reading a good book.
In the past I have been involved in different kinds of youth projects, both through CISV and through other organizations. This project provides a great opportunity to address sustainable development as a CISV focus area in a broader and more complex way. I am very happy to be a part of the “I have a Mango” project.
Karianne Sørbø
Hello all! I am Karianne, living in Oslo, Norway. 25 and a half. After graduating last year in Interdiciplinary Culture Studies I have been travelling, working with the environmental party, as a subsitute teacher, and volunteering for different organizations. Not long ago I discovered that CISV combined my experience and interests in a very interesting manner, and I therefore decided to get to know more about this organization. As they say one thing led to another and before I knew it I was a part of this fabulous project, which means that I will get to work with communication, organizational developement and valuable education at the same time. Peace education towards our most important world inhabitants; the young generation.
My interests are numerous but on top ranks international politics, writing, travelling, photo and social medias. Favourite themes are human rights, climate, gender and education. Favourite sports are skiing, football and newspaper-reading. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the group that I will be working with, and start the brainstorming for I have a mango.
