My name is Andrea, I’m 22 years old and about to graduate in Development Studies and Social Anthropology at the University of Bergen. I was a participant in a youth exchange with CISV Norway and CISV Brazil in 2004 and find myself identifying with all of the organizations values and aims.
Besides work, studies and volunteering for different organizations, I enjoy dancing, film, spending time with friends, traveling, reading, learning languages, doing origami and cooking.
Through this project I hope to learn as much as possible about human rights and all it entails, as well as to contribute something of value to the coming generations. I’m very excited about being a part of and meeting the rest of the team.

Hey!
My name is Jonas Lillemoen Skaalerud and I am super-delighted to be a part of the Human Direction team. I am 23 years old and a student at the University of Agder where I study politics and management. Besides studying, I do part-time work at a petrol station and at a media house. I love buying books (however, they tend to pile up whithout being read), reading newspapers (they pile up too!) and taking photographs. Travelling is a passion of mine and through CISV I have been able to travel to fascinating places such as Guangzhou, Sao Paolo and Denver. Adding Columbia to my record of CISV activities will hopefully be a highlight!
When I was presented with the invitation to be a part of the project there was no doubt in my mind that this was a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’. For the last five years I have spent ten months each year at university campuses, so needless to say, I can not wait to spend ten months doing actual full-time work. With the project theme being ‘Organizational Development and Human Rights’ I hope to contribute with CISV experience as well as my academic knowledge. My personal goals for the project will be to develop a grassroot level insight in organizational development and human right practices and in addition gain some knowledge in the Spanish language.
I look very much forward to the project start-up in August and can not wait to meet my fellow project participants!
Hasta luego;)
