CISV Norge is looking for project team to promote CISV Georgia
CISV Norway will work together with CISV Germany on the promotion of CISV Georgia. Therefore CISV Norge is looking for two volunteers to form a project team and cooperate in the promotion team with CISV Germany and CISV Georgia to promote CISV Georgia from a Promotional Association to a National Association of CISV International.
In 2013 we are planning to have a staff and chapter training in Georgia followed by a national youth meeting and an evaluation and planning meeting. It will last for 1-2 weeks between late June and mid-July (to be confirmed). There will also be a planning meeting in Oslo from May 3rd – 5th.
It is important to be able to be part of these events. At the planning meeting in Georgia it will be your job, together with the German promotion team, to plan and schedule the next steps. CISV Georgia is planning international youth meeting in 2014 and will need the support of CISV Norway and CISV Germany. This includes preparations and planning, running the program, and evaluating it. You also will be in charge of developing a plan for future activities of CISV Georgia in cooperation with the promotion team.
All travel costs as well as accommodation and food in Georgia as well as during all project related meetings will be covered.
CISV has a three year perspective of the promotion of CISV Georgia. A three year commitment is not necessarily but preferred.
Desired applicant profile:
- CISV experience
- Certified Trainer (TTT)
- Experience with peace education
- Youth Meeting experience (Leader or Staff)
- Attendance on meeting in May (3rd -5th) and June/Juli (max. two weeks)
